As the Senior Superintendent, you will ensure each project is built to meet industry standards, support operational efficiency, and reduce energy consumption.
Responsibilities:
As a Construction Superintendent, you’ll have the unique role of ensuring safety standards, quality control, and seamless team operations directly at the project site. Key duties include leading field operations and supervising subcontractors and labor teams.
- Project Oversight: Manage cold storage construction projects from planning to completion.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate with engineers, architects, contractors, and vendors.
- Cost and Budget Oversight: Monitor costs and keep projects within budget.
- Stakeholder and Client Communication: Serve as the primary contact for clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
- Compliance: Ensure facilities meet safety regulations and energy efficiency standards.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates are skilled in hands-on construction management, with a strong knowledge of safety protocols (e.g., OSHA certification preferred) and experience managing daily on-site operations and staff coordination.
- 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on cold storage facilities.
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems, insulation, and energy management.
- Expertise in managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. Pmp certifications – not needed.
- Procure experience is a plus.
