Responsibilities
As a Senior Estimator, you will lead the cost estimation process, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include:
- Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment tailored to restaurant and retail projects.
- Bid Preparation: Create competitive bids, evaluate subcontractor proposals, and secure project contracts.
- Risk Management: Assess potential financial risks and propose cost-effective solutions.
- Collaboration: Work with architects, designers, and project managers to ensure budgets align with design and functionality goals.
- Market Trends: Stay informed about restaurant and retail construction innovations, materials, and techniques.
- Client Interaction: Present cost breakdowns and project timelines to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates have extensive experience in estimating and managing restaurant and retail construction projects.
- Experience: 7+ years in estimating for restaurant and retail construction projects.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with commercial construction standards, design trends, and materials used in restaurant and retail spaces.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple complex projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: PMP certification is not required.
- Procure Experience: Is a plus.
