Responsibilities
As a Senior Estimator, you will oversee financial planning, cost estimation, and risk management for aviation construction projects. Key duties include:
- Cost Estimation: Create detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment specific to aviation projects.
- Budget Management: Develop project budgets and ensure alignment with financial goals and client expectations.
- Bid Management: Review and analyze subcontractor proposals to prepare competitive bids.
- Risk Assessment: Identify cost-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate budget alignment.
- Client Communication: Present financial forecasts and updates to stakeholders with clarity and transparency.
- Market Research: Stay updated on trends in aviation construction materials and technologies.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates bring extensive experience and expertise in aviation construction estimation and financial management.
- Experience: 7+ years in cost estimation for aviation construction or related infrastructure projects.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of aviation construction methods, materials, and regulatory standards.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Certifications: PMP certification is not required.
- Leadership Skills: Strong ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
