Global Mobility

Global Mobility

“Global Mobility” refers to the strategies and processes that organizations use to manage the relocation and deployment of employees across international borders. This encompasses a range of activities, including visa and immigration support, relocation assistance, tax compliance, and cultural integration programs. The goal of global mobility is to ensure that employees are effectively transitioned to new locations while aligning with both company objectives and local regulations.

For example, a multinational company might implement a global mobility program to facilitate the transfer of a senior manager from its headquarters in New York to a new role in Tokyo. This program could include assistance with obtaining a work visa, finding suitable housing, and providing cultural training to help the manager adjust to the new environment.
